20 Mar AWARD PRITZKER 2013
Toyo Ito receive the prestigious prize Pritzker, the “Nobel Prize for architecture” — An important Award that Olivari is pleased to announce.
Calling him a ``creator of timeless buildings``, the Pritzker cometee mentioned Ito to have ``instilled in his projects a spiritual dimension and poetry transcending in all his works``.
We like to remind that in 2009 the Japanese architect designed the door handle Fin, a complex project in which Ito joined together the elements of his culture: the simplicity and functionality, for a slow, repetitive, motion such as entering and of going out from a room, integrated in a perfect but not shown ergonomy.
A elegant and timeless handle which suit perfectly with mordern and international enviroments.
