The handle on a door needs to be simple and elementary, easy to use and immediately comprehensible.
For this project with Olivari, Dominique Perrault wanted to create shapes that were reduced to minimum terms: a line drawn in space.
The essentiality of Living is revealed in the interpenetration of elementary shapes attributable to the two components of the handle: the horizontal grip and the connector to the door functioning as a rotation axis.

The linearity of the shapes expresses continuity with our architecture, transposed to the domestic scale of a utilitarian object.
