Ferdinand Alexander “Butzi” Porsche comes from a family of famous automotive engineers: is the son of Anton Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche, and grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, designer of the Volkswagen Beetle.

Ferdinand Alexander “Butzi” Porsche comes from a family of famous automotive engineers: is the son of Anton Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche, and grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, designer of the Volkswagen Beetle.
When he was still a student of the University of Design in Ulm enters the office design of the family, Porsche AG, where he designed one of the most successful cars of all time, the Porsche 911 (1963).
In 1972 he left the family to establish Porsche Design studio which soon became famous for innovations introduced on the IWC watches and sunglasses Carrera. In the following years draws cameras, appliances, clothing and furniture, including the chair Antropovarius for Frau (1982).
